What is Tivorbox?
Tivorbox creates high-quality wooden boxes designed to conceal trash cans and HVAC units, enhancing the look of your outdoor space with stylish and durable solutions.
How long is production?
We currently have a 1-2 week turnaround time. Please contact us if you need it sooner.
Can Tivorbox be installed on any surface?
We recommend installing Tivorbox on a flat and stable surface, such as a concrete pad, for the best results.
Is Tivorbox weatherproof?
Yes, all our boxes are treated with a waterproof stain and sealer to withstand rain and harsh weather.
How do I maintain my Tivorbox?
Maintenance is minimal. We recommend occasional cleaning and checking the waterproof finish to keep your box in top condition.
I wanted to confirm the wood is smooth (no texture or knots).
We use Wood Primed Siding for the frame and Primed Wood Composite Siding for the panels, which are knot-free and have a slight texture. Additionally, we add Pine boards inside for extra support, making the box sturdy and long-lasting.
Is the top of the box coated? It looks textured.
Yes, the top of the box is coated. All our boxes, including the top, are treated with a high-quality waterproof stain and sealer. This ensures they withstand rain and harsh weather while maintaining their structure for many years.
Can I use two sizes of trash cans—will it still operate with the larger trash can box?
Yes, you can use trash cans of different sizes, as long as each can is no larger than 96 gallons. The box is designed to work seamlessly, as the lid connects to the trash can lids and can be adjusted for proper operation.
Any issues if the box is on pavers as it is not completely level?
No worries! If the surface is uneven, our boxes come with adjustable feet made of boards up to 15 inches long. These allow you to easily level the box, ensuring it sits securely and evenly on any surface.
Do you bolt the box to the ground?
Yes, our boxes can be securely fastened to a concrete base using metal brackets, which are included with the box. This ensures stability and keeps the box in place, even in windy conditions.
Is the box sturdy – does it have a metal bar on the bottom to stabilize it?
Our box is sturdy without the need for a metal bar on the bottom. The bottom is designed to be securely fastened to the surface during assembly, providing stability and ensuring the box remains strong and in place.
What is the Wind Rating?
Our box for 3 trash cans weighs approximately 150 pounds, providing significant weight and stability. While it is not specifically rated for extreme wind conditions, the box is designed to be sturdy and secure.
Do you have labels for the box to know what is trash or recycle?
Yes, we can include labels for trash and recycling on the box for an additional fee. Just let us know when placing your order, and we will customize the labels to suit your needs.
What is covered under your warranty?
Tivorbox offers a 1-year limited warranty that covers defects in materials and workmanship. This includes any issues that arise under normal use. However, the warranty does not cover damage caused by improper installation, misuse, or exposure to extreme weather conditions beyond typical outdoor use.
